[SEMCO] Earth Day Celebration & Clean Up

Ameri-Corps Cape Cod and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Cape Cod Canal will be hosting their 19th Annual Cape Cod Canal Clean Up Saturday April 20th from 10 am- 2 pm at the Buzzards Bay Recreation Area on Main St in Buzzards Bay. Join over 150 volunteers in picking up a boat load of trash from the banks of the Cape Cod Canal. Last year we removed over 700 lbs. If you are group who would like to participate or a group who would like to set up an educational table and activity please contact Park Ranger Elisa Carey  at 978-318-8591 or at Elisa.D.Carey at usace.army.mil  Breakfast and lunch is provided to all volunteers. There will also be a live band, face painting and activities for all ages.
