Monday, April 15

10 a.m. - Animated film "Surprise Island"

Jessie, Henry, Violet, and Benny are given the irreplaceable experience of
spending a summer of wonder and adventure on Surprise Island.

12 p.m. - Documentary film "Spirit of Discovery"
WHOI Redfield Auditorium**
This film is being show in honor of the late Oceanographer Walter Munk. Walter’s
previous discoveries landed the D-Day troops at Normandy, decoded the dark side
of the moon, revealed that ocean temperatures are rising, created surfcasting,
and set off the first sound that was literally “heard round the world.” Now, the
most important living Oceanographer finds himself venturing into the unfamiliar
waters of marine biology.
The event is free but reservations are required.
