WILDFLOWERS IN WATERCOLOR FOR BEGINNERS
Learn how to paint flowers in watercolor in the beautiful Shirley G. Cross
Wildflower Garden at the Green Briar Nature Center in East Sandwich. Nature
columnist and artist Mary Richmond leads this 3 session class meeting
Wednesday mornings April 24, May 1 and May 8 from 10am to noon.
Work outside when warm enough or in the classroom from cut flowers. Some
drawing and watercolor experience will be a plus, though not necessary.
This is a basic skills class. A materials list will be sent to all
registrants. Mary Richmond has been painting and teaching in this wonderful
garden for many years and offers a low-key class with lots of encouragement
and helpful tips. The fee for the full 3 sessions is $90 for members of the
Thornton W. Burgess Society, $110 non-members or $45 per session. Call
508-888-6870 for registration details.
