Youth Education Coordinator with Buzzards Bay Coalition 

AmeriCorps/TerraCorps service position-New Bedford, MA

 

About us: TerraCorps is an innovative national service program helping
communities conserve and secure land for the health and well-being of people
and nature. Each year, TerraCorps looks for 36 AmeriCorps members to join
the team for 11-month service positions. This position is a joint
collaboration with Buzzards Bay Coalition, a nonprofit organization
dedicated to the restoration, protection, and sustainable use and enjoyment
of Buzzards Bay and its watershed.  

Open Position: Buzzards Bay Coalition is looking for one AmeriCorps member
to come and spend a year as the Youth Education Coordinator. As part of the
team, you will have the chance to develop new outdoor exploration programs,
create localized  curriculum and interpretive signage, lead an Outdoor
Exploration Assistant volunteer program, and implement outdoor exploration
programming. This position is an AmeriCorps position through TerraCorps!
Members serve in full-time (40 hour/week) positions from mid-September to
July 26th, 2019. These 1,700 hour AmeriCorps positions receive a living
allowance, education award, and additional AmeriCorps benefits.
