BREWSTER, MA.— The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in Brewster is proud to present the 22nd Annual Cape Cod Maritime History Symposium on Saturday, November 3, 2018  9am-3pm
 Schedule of Events:

9:00 am – Registration; coffee, tea & refreshments

9:45am - Introduction by Symposium founding Director, Theresa M. Barbo

10:00 am – Centuries of Sail: 13 Generations of Barnstable’s West, North and Cotuit Bays
with Zenas “Zee” Crocker, Executive Director, Barnstable Clean Water Coalition

11:00 am – Lost Hero of Cape Cod: Captain Asa Eldridge and the Maritime Trade That Shaped America with Vincent Miles, Author
12:00 pm – Luncheon and explore Museum exhibits, gardens & trails
1:00 pm –Barnstable Harbor’s Historic & Charismatic Creatures:  Horseshoe Crabs and Diamond Back Terrapins with Ian Ives, Director, Mass Audubon’s Long Pasture Wildlife Sanctuary

 2:00 pm – Winds of Change:  How an Invisible Force of Nature Shaped a Maritime Economy,
1620-2018  with Nathaniel “Nate” Mayo; Manager, Policy and Development, Vineyard Wind


Admission is $25 includes morning refreshments, 4 lectures, lunch and Museum Admission.
