6th Annual Cape Coastal Conference
December 4-5, 2018
Life on Cape Cod is life in the coastal zone. Everything we do and enjoy here is somehow linked to the natural coastal resources on which we all depend. It is therefore critical that we understand how our coastal ecosystems are changing and responding over time, how our actions and decisions affect ecosystem health and community well-being, and how to best plan for the future.

The Cape Coastal Conference is an annual gathering of local officials, managers, policymakers, scientists, technical experts, conservation organizations, and community groups to discuss some of the most pressing environmental issues facing Cape Cod. The goal of the forum is to share science-based information that can inform better management and stewardship of our shared coastal resources.  A hallmark feature is to hear about local projects and research as well as relevant science that addresses management needs.

This year's event will focus on two main themes: water quality and preparing our communities to be more resilient in the face of mounting coastal risks and a changing climate.
