Intro to Beekeeping

Sundays, February 4th –March 11th, 2:30-4:30pm

Location: Audubon Society of Rhode Island, 1401 Hope Street, Bristol, RI. www.asri.org

Program Fee: Six week session: Audubon Society of RI member $65, non-member $72.

Looking for a way to do your part to help out pollinators? Join us for our new beekeeping class! In this six-session course, you'll learn the basics of keeping honey bees from local beekeeper Kevin England. From honey bee health, to equipment and hive construction, this course will give you the knowledge you need to get started with backyard beekeeping. All participants will receive the book "The Backyard Beekeeper", by Kim Flottum. Find out why there is so much "buzz" about bees! Ages: Adults.



Advanced Beekeeping

Sundays, Sundays, March 18th and 25th, 2:30-4:30pm

Location: Audubon Society of Rhode Island, 1401 Hope Street, Bristol, RI. www.asri.org

Program Fee: Two week session: Audubon Society of RI member $20, non-member $24.


Interested in expanding your Beekeeping knowledge beyond the basics? Did you taken Intro to Beekeeping last year and want to know more? This program is for you! Join Kevin England for this special two week Advanced Beekeeping session to enrich your beekeeping basics. Ages: Adults.
