    Brothers Volcano Expedition


    March 6 - 26, 2018

Dear Teacher,

Follow along as we travel inside an underwater volcano on the Kermadec 
Arc northeast of New Zealand. We will explore the caldera floor and 
walls where hydrothermal vents create some of the most extreme 
environments on Earth.

We will be sharing stories, videos, and photos along the way and 
answering your questions about the expedition.

    How does this expedition help you and your students?

Expedition 16 to Brothers Volcano addresses many items in the Next 
Generation Science Standards, from Grade 5 through high school. Here is
