Subject: [MASSBIRD] Oiled Birds
Recently, there have been a few cases of oiled birds reported to the Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife. It is unclear where the oil has originated from, but it may be from a spill off of Newfoundland a few weeks ago or something more local. As we try to keep track of the locations and number of oiled birds being documented off the coast of Massachusetts, I encourage people to report any observations of oiled birds to me at andrew.vitz at state.ma.us<mailto:andrew.vitz at state.ma.us>.
Thank you. Drew
