This Thursday, August 9, from 4:30-5:30 PM at Mass Audubon's Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, join Stephanie Ellis of Eastham-based Wild Care, Inc. for a special opportunity to learn about wildlife rehabilitation and meet a live, rehabilitated box turtle and screech owl. Wild Care, a nonprofit wildlife hospital, rehabilitates over 1,200 animals per year. Stephanie will share a closer look at the work Wild Care does, what to do if you find an animal in distress, and tips for how to best live with our wild neighbors.
Program cost is $8 for Mass Audubon members; $10 for non-members. Preregister online at massaudubon.org/wellfleetbay or by calling 508-349-2615.
