This Saturday from 1-2:30 p.m., Mass Audubon's Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary and the Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater present this award-winning short film for both adults and kids that focuses on problems caused by plastic straws and other single-use plastic that pollute waterways and coastlines, as well as injure and kill wildlife.

"Straws" shows how individuals-especially young people-can start movements in their towns to encourage the use of biodegradable or reusable straws. The film is targeted to kids aged 10 and older.

Following the film, Wellfleet Bay naturalist Joel Wagner will lead an activity using recycled materials. At 3 PM, for those interested, Joel will lead a clean-up at a nearby beach to celebrate Earth Day (Sunday, April 22nd).

The film will be shown at WHAT. Tickets are $8 per person and may be purchased online at what.org<http://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwhat.org%2F&h=ATPJGI5s0S-S_tb1N1udJ-X59uJsA4tKsGCawcldQSRgALJWHcZL1Ly8eavYUqabxBgWum-dDZMRq5TbeKKj8TjwW_3o1olQXZ5w2ncMonXF6ZPtSQ> or by calling the box office at 508-349-9428.
