Spring Storywalk® - – “A Day in the Salt Marsh,” by Kevin Kurtz

Daily, dawn to dusk
April 17 – April 21
(closed Monday, April 16)
Stroll along the bluff to the bay shore while discovering a day in one of the most dynamic habitats on earth: the salt marsh. The story along the trail is a fun-to-read, rhyming verse about the hourly changes in the marsh as the tide comes and goes. Watch the animals that have adapted to this ever-changing environment as they hunt for food or play in the sun, and learn how the marsh grass survives even when it is covered by salt water twice a day. All ages welcome. Please dress for the outdoors. Trail begins on the bluff in front of the Visitor Center. This is a self-guided activity. The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, Vermont and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library.
