The Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary is a conservation leader across Cape Cod and beyond.  Staff and volunteers rescue, protect, and monitor endangered, threatened, and at risk wildlife, and protect rare and iconic Cape Cod habitats on our 1,100 acre Sanctuary.  Wellfleet Bay reaches 35,000-50,000 people annually as visitors to the Nature Center and trails, natural history program participants, volunteers, Outer Cape public school students, and summer day campers.

The Special Events Coordinator has an exciting opportunity to advance Wellfleet Bay's mission as the Sanctuary celebrates its 60th Anniversary in 2018.  The Special Events Coordinator plans and executes fundraising and friend raising events such as the annual Wild, Wild Wellfleet chefs tasting and auction, wine dinners, sanctuary walks, presentations, receptions and outings, and manages event sponsorship.

The Special Events Coordinator reports to the Development Director and works closely with the Sanctuary Director, Development Officer, and other Wellfleet Bay staff.
