CLASS OF 2019 DEAN JOHN A. KNAUSS MARINE POLICY FELLOWSHIP OPPORTUNITY
Qualified individuals are invited by the Woods Hole Sea Grant program to 
submit applications for the Dean John A. Knauss Marine Policy 
Fellowship. Approximately thirty-five individuals are selected 
nationally for this prestigious Fellowship to spend a year in 
Washington, D.C., working in Congress or the Executive Branch on 
critical marine policy and resource management issues. Nominees must be 
enrolled in a U.S. accredited graduate or professional degree program in 
a marine or aquatic-related field in the U.S. or its territories as of 
February 21, 2018. Applications are due to Woods Hole Sea Grant by 5:00 
p.m., on Friday, February 23, 2018. Selected applicants will be 
interviewed by the Woods Hole Sea Grant Director after application 
materials are received. Applications will be first reviewed by an ad hoc 
committee of WHSG personnel. Final submission of up to (6) application 
packets is due to the National Sea Grant office by April 6, 2018. For 
the Fellowship Class of 2019, the selection process and subsequent 
notification of finalists by the National Sea Grant College Program will
