Join a Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary naturalist for the following birding program this Saturday, March 25 at 9 AM:
Pleasant Bay, the largest estuary on Cape Cod, is a biologically diverse and productive marine habitat and an excellent place for birding year-round. Sea ducks and other waterfowl can be seen in large numbers on the open waters and protected inlets of the Bay. Join Wellfleet Bay staff in cooperation with Pleasant Bay Community Boating for an opportunity to explore some of the best birding spots on the Bay.
This guided birding program will take place on Saturday, March 25 from 9 AM-11 AM. Participants will meet at Pleasant Bay Community Boating and then carpool to birding hot spots around the bay. The program costs $7 for Mass Audubon and Pleasant Bay Community Boating adult members; $14 for adult non-members and is free for member children ages 10-16; $5 for non-member children ages 10-16. Register online at http://www.massaudubon.org/get-outdoors/program-catalog#program:program_code=52468 or by calling 508-349-2615.
