This is the last portion of our free events open to the public during March.  The March talks and film are listed below. FILM: Sharkwater

Cape Cod Museum of Art - D'Allesandro Auditorium, 60 Hope Lane, Dennis, MA
Biologist Rob Stewart endeavors to teach people that sharks are not man-killers.  In fact, he discovers that man is killing this keystone species to the brink of extinction.  Stewart teams up with Sea Shepherd Conservation Society to expose shark poaching, mafia espionage and government corruption.  *45-minute guided tour to of art exhibits to follow.

Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) - Redfield Auditorium, 45 Water Street, Woods Hole, MA
Want to know more about Cape Cod's horseshoe crabs?  Come learn about the 2016 horseshoe crab spawning survey results, population concerns and the outlook for preserving this ancient species.  *Post-presentation guided tour of WHOI facilities.

"Do the Right Thing" featuring Charles (Stormy) Mayo

Cape Cod National Seashore Salt Pond Visitors Center, 50 Nauset Road, Eastham, MA
Learn about efforts to protect Right Whales from ship strikes, entanglements and sonar noise in the highly-trafficked Eastern Seaboard, as well as new developments on possible causes of beaching.  *Post-presentation guided tour, "Discover Nauset Marsh."
