[SEMCO] 2017 Cape Cod Natural History Conference This Saturday

The 2017 Cape Cod Natural History Conference is this Saturday, March 11 from 8:30 AM-3 PM at Cape Cod Community College's Tilden Arts Center.
For more than 20 years, Mass Audubon's Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary has organized this full-day conference featuring presenters from environmental organizations across Cape Cod speaking on a diversity of natural history topics.
Among the presenters will be Jacob McCumber of the Massachusetts Army National Guard on "Bats of Camp Edwards: Three Years of Intensive Monitoring"; and Paul Goldstein of the USDA National Museum of Natural History on "Offshore Entomology: The Dukes County Native Bee Project". Other topics include:

The Successful Capture, Rehabilitation, and Release of a Manatee from Chilly Cape Cod Waters
Sounds that Fish Make and Why They're Important
Why Marine Animals Eat Plastics
The Largest Freshwater Wetland Restoration in the Northeast

Bring a brown bag lunch and to help us cut down on waste, bring a mug for coffee. Coffee and refreshments provided.
