SANDWICH GARDEN TOUR TO BENEFIT GREEN BRIAR NATURE CENTER

Enjoy a summer's day visiting six beautiful gardens in Sandwich on
Wednesday, July 12th at your leisure anytime between 10am and 4pm during the
Annual Sandwich Garden Tour to benefit the Thornton W. Burgess Society and
its Green Briar Nature Center. Each garden on the tour offers something a
little different from a mirage water garden to a property outlined in
fieldstone garden beds.  One garden also includes a tour of an historic
home, where the owner who gives historical lectures on arts and crafts, has
many prized examples on display.

 

Tickets and a map with directions to each garden are available at the Green
Briar Nature Center, 6 Discovery Hill Road (off Route 6A), East Sandwich.  A
ticket covering all six gardens may be purchased for $25 or individual
gardens may be visited for a fee of $5 (exact cash to be paid at each
garden).  The Burgess Society is grateful to The Horsley Witten Group for
