Barnstable County has a commitment to water quality. Last year, over 376k lbs of hazardous waste was collected on Cape Cod through the county’s Hazardous Waste/Water Quality program. This program protects our rare and unique unconfined, sole-source aquifer and hundreds of embayments, rivers, streams, ponds, lakes, and other water resources. Please share the attached 2017 HHW map of FREE hazardous waste collections to your communities. More information at www.loveyourlocalwater.org <http://www.loveyourlocalwater.org/>.
