accomplished, self-motivated professional to serve as Manager for this well
regarded, unique non-profit corporation owning the 5-mile-long barrier
beach property in Duxbury, Massachusetts. This newly-established, full-time
salaried position will report to the President and the Board of Directors
of the organization, and will have responsibility for coordinating and
supporting all aspects of the organization, including resource and species
conservation, regulatory compliance, regulatory interactions, progressive
fundraising development, grant writing, and community relations, programs,
and activities; coordinating and supporting all committee activities of the
organization; and setting up the initial office of the Manager.
Compensation is commensurate with experience and education, and includes
benefits. Essential skills include demonstrated leadership skills, strong
oral and written communications skills, and strong computer competence.
Substantial management experience in the non-profit sector and in natural
coastal resource conservation and environmental issues is required. To read
