Got plans for this Saturday night? Mass Audubon's Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, the Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater, and WCAI Radio are presenting Saving Jamaica Bay, a new documentary about local citizens determined to save one of the most abused wetland habitats in the country which, incredibly, still supports a wide array of wildlife. The film, part of the annual Sea Change film and discussion series, will be shown from at 7 pm at WHAT.

Afterwards, the topic will be brought closer to home with a panel discussion about the Herring River restoration. Panel members will include representatives of Friends of Herring River, the Association to Preserve Cape Cod, and the film's producer, Daniel Hendrick. WCAI's Sean Corcoran will be the panel moderator. Tickets are $12 and can be purchased at what.org or by calling WHAT at 508-349-9428.
