*Flock to the “Wild Fiesta” at GUAPO’s and support Wild Care!*



Orleans, MA (August 18, 2017) – GUAPO’s and Wild Care Cape Cod are teaming
up for the second annual “Wild Fiesta” fundraising bash and Cornhole
tournament!  On Sunday, August 27 from 3-5 pm, revelers are invited to the
outside patio at GUAPO’s Orleans for food, games and more, all to benefit
Wild Care!



Teams of two are invited to participate in a corn hole tournament at the
Fiesta. The winning duo will take home an incredible prize pack, and the
$10 entry fee will benefit Wild Care.  Teams can register at the event or
in advance at http://www.guaposcapecod.com/wildcare/. The GUAPO’s patio
will be going in full force, with their Tiki Bar serving up margaritas and
beer at a cash bar!



Not a Cornhole player? Not a problem! A $5 donation to Wild Care at the
door comes with free appetizers from GUAPO’s, the chance to meet the folks
from Wild Care, and, new this year, a chance to meet ‘45’ the Eastern Box
Turtle (sponsored by GCAi) and a a chance to meet Wild Care’s new,
educational baby Eastern Screech Owl "Up Up"! These animals were rescued by
Wild Care and, because these two can’t survive in the wild, they are now a
part of Wild Care’s educational program.



Party-goers also will get the chance to win great silent auction prizes
from local business, including beer and wine, jewelry, gift cards, a
GUAPO’s prize piñata and more.



Snowy Owl Coffee Roasters in Brewster will be on hand with delicious, cold
brew coffee samples and more coffee items to enjoy.



Attendees are also encouraged to bring small items on Wild Care’s “Wish
List” to help them continue the important work they’re doing.  Items range
from unflavored Pedialyte and Dawn dish soap and to latex gloves and potted

“We’re so excited to host Wild Care once again.” said GUAPO’s owner Kyle
Parker. “It’s great to see how much they’ve grown since we hosted them last
year. We’re happy to be able to continue to help Cape Cod’s wildlife in any
way possible.”

event. We are grateful to Guapo’s owners Danna and Kyle for hosting us yet
another year at their wonderful Orleans location, and grateful for their
love of animals. Proceeds go directly toward caring for all of our
patients, at Wild Care. Great fun for a great cause!”
