One Neighborhood at a Time
The Operation Clean Sweep Anti-Litter Campaign works to improve the quality of life in New Bedford through Organized Clean ups, Education and Advocacy for Enforcement of city ordinances.

Get some fresh air and grab some gloves. Bring your family, meet friends, neighbors, co-workers and classmates to make a difference.
How to Volunteer: Click on the Sign up Now Button!
Pre-Register before the cleanup (pre-registration is not required but helps with planning)
Day of the cleanup: Check in at OCS Headquarters
Hosted by: Barry's Fine Wine and Sprits
When: Saturday, September 17th from 8:30 – 11:00 am
Where: Meet at OCS Headquarters Located in the parking lot near Carney Academy on Summer and Elm St.

Volunteer Appreciation Event
You can make a difference and help Keep New Bedford Clean!
Immediately following our September 17th Ward 4 clean up, Operation Clean Sweep will be hosting a volunteer appreciation event! All volunteers will receive a free raffle ticket for prizes donated by local businesses.
To date, over 150 volunteers have cleaned up over 2.88 tons of trash off the streets of New Bedford. Thank you, we couldn't have done it without you!
