This free conference is open to all and highlights the latest research on topics related to Wellfleet Harbor and its watershed. 2016 presentations include:
White Sharks in Wellfleet Harbor and Beyond
Gray Seals as a Sentinel Species for the Massachusetts Marine Nearshore Ecosystem
Update on Vibrio and Shellfish Aquaculture.
Snapping Turtles and River Herring: Predator-Prey Encounters on the Herring River
Two-Year Acoustic Telemetry Study of Horseshoe Crab Movements in Wellfleet Harbor
Also, scientific posters on Piping Plovers, horseshoe crabs, diamondback terrapins, herring counts, and ocean sunfish strandings.
