Explore the beautiful and birdy 3-mile long barrier beach in Plymouth - Long Beach! This area hosts over a dozen Piping Plover nesting pairs annually, as well as nesting Least and Common Terns and Willets.

It's also an important stopover spot for many migrating shorebirds including Red Knot, Semipalmated Sandpiper, Black-bellied Plover, Dunlin, Purple Sandpiper, Short-billed Dowitcher, Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs and more.

The local Osprey chicks are due to begin hatching around May 24.

Join Goldenrod Foundation, Soheil Zendeh and Dorie Stolley on an excursion to look for these birds and others and to enjoy the natural beauty of this well managed area.

The trip fee is $15 and you must preregister. Click below for more information and to register. Space is limited.
