Follow along with ocean explorers as the little sub /Alvin/ and robotic 
vehicle /Sentry/ pick up the hunt for “popping rocks” along the 
Mid-Atlantic Ridge! Science illustrator Maris Wicks is along for the 
ride, giving us an entertaining look at the geology behind (or rather, 
beneath) Earth’s ocean and atmosphere. So what is this Popping Rocks 
cruise all about, you ask? Well, that’s Wicks’ first order of business,
