The Audubon WildLife Guards: 

A Coastal Stewardship and Youth Conservation Training Program 

is the title of Goldenrod Foundation’s next presentation in the speaker series: Making Waves in Coastal Conservation, where experts present innovative ideas, exemplary projects and new technologies in the areas of coastal wildlife, water and habitat conservation.

On Saturday, January 30 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Plymouth at Brewster Chapel on Church St., Corrie Folsom-OKeefe will speak about a program for high school students in that serves to educate beach visitors about the beach-nesting birds and coastal habitat, and train urban youth for possible careers in conservation biology. April 2: Student Presentations, Middleboro high school senior Jordan Baker will speak about a cutting-edge green energy technology called vortex induced vibration for aquatic clean energy (VIVACE). Other speakers to be determined.
