The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History presents
  Music by Bay Song
with
John Keenan and Jo-Anne Wilson-Keenan


BREWSTER, MA ­The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in Brewster, MA presents
  Music by Bay Song with John Keenan and Jo-Anne 
Wilson Keenan performing children's music, 
including songs from their environmental CD, 
Spaceship Earth Monday, February 15, 2016 for two shows at 11am and 1pm.

John and Jo-Anne write nature curriculum that is 
used in over 25 summer programs for children and 
began writing environmental songs to integrate 
music with this curriculum. Their performances 
are accompanied by guitar, ukulele and other 
instruments. Children are invited to sing, play 
percussion instruments, and dance.

The name Bay Song stems from the sounds of Cape 
Cod Bay that John and Jo-Anne hear from their 
house in East Dennis on Cape Cod.  They view 
songs as one means of developing children's literacy.

Jo-Anne is the author of From Small Places: 
Toward the Realization of Literacy as a Human 
Right (Sense Publishers, 2015). John and Jo-Anne 
also have released a CD entitled Literacy Songs 
for Little Ones which won a Creative Child 
Magazine award for Best CD of the Year.
