[SEMCO] Save-the-date for Solutions for Healthy Waters Conference, 3/16

SAVE THE DATE – March 16, 2017 - for a one-day conference, *Solutions for
Healthy Waters*, at Camp Kiwanee in Hanson, MA. This learning and
networking opportunity is brought to you by Watershed Action Alliance of
Southeastern MA (WAA) representing 12 organizations dedicated to clean,
plentiful, and free-flowing water.


Sessions will cover invasive plants, effective science communication, and
drought and flood resilience. Invited speaker, Dr. Pia Moisander of UMASS
Dartmouth, will discuss the mounting challenge of cyanobacteria (blue-green
algae) in our waterways and ways to prevent it from becoming a health and
water quality issue.
