Hello Everyone,

The Senior Environment Corps, a group of citizen science volunteers age 55+, through Elder Services of Cape Cod & the Islands is presenting an educational talk in collaboration with Gabrielle Sakolsky (Cape Cod Mosquito Control Project) and Larry Dapsis (Barnstable County Extension Service):

"Blood Suckers"
Description: As we all know, mosquitos and ticks transmit diseases globally with just a simple bite. Within the last few years new species of both insects and disease have been discovered. Gabi and Larry are teaming up to tell us more about the effects of these blood suckers on our region.

Date: Wednesday, April 13th
Time: 10:30AM - 12PM
Location: South Yarmouth Library, 312 Old Main Street, South Yarmouth

This lecture is FREE and open to the public, so please join us to learn about these pesky biters.

Cheers,
Stefanie
