Whales of Cape Cod: Past, Present and Future
With Jesse Mechling, Coastal Studies Marine Education Director
When one talks of the history of Cape Cod, inevitably discussion  revolves around
the Cape's connection with the sea.  With the exception  of the exalted cod, perhaps
no other kind of marine life has been as  valued on Cape Cod as whales.
Join Center for Coastal Studies Marine  Education Director Jesse Mechling as he 
discusses the history of whales,  whaling, and whale rescue on the Cape.  Learn 
how these animals were  vital to the early economy of the area, and what threats
 and challenges  they face in the future.
