Cuttyhunk and Penikese Cruise: A Two Island Tour

Location: Cuttyhunk & the Elizabeth Islands (from Falmouth, MA)

Join us for a day-long excursion to Cuttyhunk and Penikese Islands, off the southwestern coast of Cape Cod on a privately chartered boat. Tour will cruise through Vineyard Sound and Buzzards Bay along the Elizabeth Islands, with commentary focusing on landmarks, geology, wildlife, and the history of the quiet, protected islands discovered by Gosnold in 1602.
Participants will go ashore on Penikese to spend 1.5 hours strolling around this 75 acre island. Discover the unique and storied history of this wind-swept place including the leper colony, Penikese Island School for Boys, and the amazing Common and Roseate Tern colonies protected by the Penikese Wildlife Sanctuary.
Vessel leaves from Patriot Party Boats dock, 180 Scranton Ave, Falmouth, MA. Park in the free public parking lot.
