[SEMCO] Event: Wings Over Wellfleet

This Saturday, May 23 from 9 AM-2 PM at Mass Audubon's Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, children and adults are invited to Wings Over Wellfleet, a day of fun and learning about all things bird. There will be free activities as well as special programs to seek out the birds of Wellfleet Bay, including: bird banding demonstrations, guided bird walks, birding by kayak, using smart phone apps to identify birdsong, and "Beak-mania", a fun way to experience the adaptations that allow birds to eat what they do. Throughout the day a variety of engaging bird games will be offered, including the "Grizzly Gizzard Table" to learn how birds mash up food without teeth; The Great Migration Game, and a bird puppet show.
