*Whales in Your Backyard!*
Saturday, March 28, 1-3:00 pm
Gus Canty Recreation Center,
790 Main Street Falmouth, MA
*Free Family Program for children ages 4-12 and their families*, and all
ages welcome. Drop in for one activity or stay as long as you like and try
everything:
- Eat Like a Whale!
- Blubber Glove!
- Identify Whale Sounds!
- Migrate to the Caribbean! And much, much more!
*A life-size, 40-foot inflatable Right Whale calf *will be featured, with
programming designed to help children and their families learn about these
magnificent marine mammals and how we can help protect them.
*Lesa Cline-Ransome, author of the children's book "Whale Trails: Before
and Now" will read from her book and sign copies*, which will be available
for sale at an Eight Cousins Bookstore booth.
