What: Welcome Back Osprey Celebration with the Beach Ambassadors

When: Saturday, March 28, 11 am-2 pm (rain date Sunday, March 29)

Why: Our Osprey are returning from their wintering grounds in South America. Be among the first to see the Nelson Park pair as they reclaim their nest and stake out their territory. Celebrate their arrival and the return of Spring!

How: Get a closeup view of the Osprey nest through the spotting scope. Learn about their mighty migration. Decorate a fish cutout to wish plentiful food for the Osprey family. Make “binoculars,” play nature discovery games, and learn more about these intriguing “fish hawks.” Watch and learn about all the birds of the area. Good for nature lovers of any age!
