Friends of Herring River, a 501(c)(3) organization, seeks qualified applicants for the position of Executive Director to lead the organization's efforts to protect and restore the 1000 acre Herring River Estuary in Wellfleet/Truro, MA.  The Herring River is one of the largest tidally restricted estuaries in New England.

The primary responsibilities of the Executive Director are to manage the Friends of Herring River organization and implement the plan for design, permitting, fundraising, construction and monitoring of the $40-$50 million restoration project over the next decade.
