SCOTT HORSLEY TO SPEAK AT CITIZENS FOR THE PROTECTION OF WAQUOIT BAY ANNUAL MEETING JULY 18

Solving water quality problems using non-traditional green infrastructure technologies.

Nationally renowned environmental consultant Scott Horsley will speak at the Citizens for the Protection of Waquoit Bay annual meeting on Saturday, July 18th, at 3 p.m. at the Waquoit Bay National Estuary Research Reserve boat house.

Mr. Horsley is founder of Horsley Witten Environmental Consultants and an expert in ground water. His firm holds several major contracts with the Environmental Protection Agency. He recently worked for the Cape Cod Commission to help them complete their 208 plan for the Cape’s bays and estuaries. Mr. Horsley believes there is a place for non-traditional green infrastructure technologies which is the title of his talk.

CPWB has reorganized and is actively pursuing a plan to protect the watershed of Waquoit Bay. Those plans will be discussed at the meeting. All those interested in protecting the watershed of Waquoit Bay are welcome.
