THE PROGRAM

IOS6 explores what we can expect from and ask of the oysterin environmental and
human affairs, now and into the future. Do you see opportunity for economic growth,
a biologic key to health, a declining natural resource in need of restoration, or
compliant machines working on our behalf? Many envision a future with oysters helping
to save our planet's well being by sustaining the ever-growing human population
while keeping pace with sea level rise. Key questions:

* Are all points of view and interests across the oyster community compatible, or
are some mutually exclusive?
* As a community, how can we vigorously champion oysters without getting in our
own way of realizing the oysters' full potential?
* Where are the successes and obstacles to industry growth, water quality remediation,
repopulation, and community engagement?
* Can we find oyster common ground?
