Details: Bonnie will discuss the history of the lands now conserved on Town Cove,
including Sea Call Farm, Meadow on the Cove, and the Windmill.

Directions: From the intersection of Rt. 28 and Main Street, head east on Rt. 6A
 toward Eastham for .1 mile. Take a right onto Cove Road. Orleans Yacht Club is 
at the end of the road on the right.

Details: Two large residential lots were purchased in 2006 by the Town of Orleans
to preserve all of the high hill overlooking the entrance to Arey's Pond, an active
small-craft boatyard and mooring area. Those lots comprise this 8.2-acre property
fringing the hill, where the last Indian meetinghouse in Orleans was sited. The 
land falls within a state-designated Area of Critical Environmental Concern and 
has been known to attract otters.

Directions: From the intersection of Rt. 28 and Main Street in Orleans, head south
on Rt. 28 toward Chatham (1.4 miles). Take a left onto Arey's Lane (0.5) miles. 
The Town parking area is .1 miles on the right just after you pass the Arey's Pond
boatyard.
