series of short videos describing some of the research, rescue, education and policy
work carried out here at the Center for Coastal Studies.
In this piece, CCS co-founder and coastal geologist, Graham Giese, PhD, along with
the Center's Director of Marine Geology, Mark Borrelli, PhD, explains how understanding
and measuring the movement of sediments along our coast enables policy makers to
 plan and prepare for the future of this "fragile pile of sand" we call Cape Cod.
