The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History presents
Great White Shark Research Fundraiser


BREWSTER, MA ­The Cape Cod Museum of Natural 
History in Brewster, MA will be hosting Dr. Greg 
Skomal of the Massachusetts Shark Research 
Program and spotter pilot and photographer Wayne 
Davis on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at 6:30 pm.

  Dr. Skomal is an accomplished marine biologist 
and charismatic speaker who has been a senior 
fisheries biologist with Massachusetts Marine 
Fisheries since 1987, and currently heads up the 
Massachusetts Shark Research Program as well as 
directing the scientific research on Great White 
Sharks off the coast of Cape Cod for the last 6 
years. He will be presenting his latest findings 
of his first of its kind population study of 
great white sharks in the Western North Atlantic.

Wayne Davis is a spotter pilot, marine 
photographer and former Point Judith, RI 
fisherman. Working together with Dr. Skomal and 
the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy, by air 
Davis assists the team on the water by spotting 
Great White Sharks off the coast of Cape Cod. 
This extraordinary summer, Davis captured two 
international headlining events for the AWSC team 
and he and Dr. Skomal will discuss this symbiotic 
relationship and how they accomplish their work 
from the air and the boat. Not to be missed!

This presentation will be held at the Museum on 
Tuesday, September 29th from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. 
Doors will open for wine and cheese at 6 pm.

The presentation will be $25 per person. All 
proceeds will benefit Dr. Skomal’s research via 
the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy and the Cape 
Cod Museum of Natural History. Reservations are
