Dr. Mashey, formerly of Bell Labs, is a Silicon Valley computer scientist and corporate
executive. He has spent the last few years investigating the political and economic
machinery behind climate anti-science, whose tactics have been honed by aiding tobacco
companies for decades. Dr. Mashey has been profiled in Science for his efforts to
throw rocks in the gears of the climate anti-science machinery.
This subject will particularly resonate with those who may have read or seen Merchants
of Doubt. WHRC will offer a free showing of the documentary on Saturday, August 
29.
