CLIMATE ACTION TRAINING

The Southeastern Massachusetts Pine Barrens Alliance will host a free two–day Climate Action Training workshop conducted by the Students For Climate Action (SFCA), an advocacy organization created and managed by young adults that aims to empower aspiring and current environmental activists through advocacy, training, and networking.

The purpose of the organization is to engage students from across the United States and the world on what is the most pressing issue facing Earth today: anthropogenic climate change. It is through spreading knowledge about this crisis, and showing others why they must take action, that this problem will be solved. While the organization aims to mobilize students, individuals of all ages are more than welcome to get involved.

The training will cover what climate change is, how it is affecting our planet, and will cover ways in which YOU can get involved to combat this crisis.

Join Students for Climate Action on August 12th and 13th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Southeastern Massachusetts Pine Barrens Alliance Conservation Center located at 204 Long Pond Road, Plymouth, MA.
