is a four year project at the Waquoit Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve that examined the relationship between salt marshes, climate change, and nitrogen pollution. The Project used cutting edge science to quantify greenhouse gas emissions and carbon sequestration in coastal wetlands and predict greenhouse gas fluxes across a range of environmental settings. The project also elevated understanding about the importance  of blue carbon and developed new tools and resources to enable coastal managers and policymakers to leverage blue carbon to achieve broader wetlands management, restoration, and conservation goals.
