barndoor skates, and how the Fishermen's Alliance took action in collecting scientific
data to improve management.

Chairman of our Board and fisherman, Nick Muto includes, "A bunch of us noticed 
there were lots of barndoor skates coming up in our nets. We weren't allowed to 
bring these to shore as they are under a rebuilding program. But seeing so many,
 we went to the Fishermen's Alliance and spoke about how catching this many could
mean populations were in better shape."
