A naturalist on Cape Cod as well as on expedition ships in the high latitudes, Liz

Liz also has a deep interest in how literature and natural history can together

Yorker, The Atlantic Monthly, Orion, and elsewhere. She is the Poet-in-Residence
 at Brandeis University and teaches on the faculty of the low-residency MFA program
at the University of Alaska Anchorage.

Arctic Inspired will combine photographs of the far North and its diverse inhabitants
with poems inspired by the natural history of the Arctic.

This presentation is part of the Center for Coastal Studies' Winter Lecture Series,
