> A postdoctoral research position is available with Dr. Eric Schultz and Dr. Jason Vokoun in the Departments of Ecology & Evolutionary Biology and Natural Resources & the Environment at the University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT. The postdoc will participate in a Sea Grant-funded project to evaluate the population-dynamic effects of alternative management approaches in a recreational marine fishery.

> The postdoc will conduct assimilation of biological and fisheries data and modeling. Additional responsibilities include written and oral communication of research results and outreach to anglers and the general public.

> The successful applicant will have completed a PhD degree in fisheries management or a related field prior to the start date. An excellent publication record, evidence of strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work independently are required. Preference will be given to scientists with experience in stock assessment and population dynamics modeling.

> The intended start date for this position is 1 February 2015. The duration is for 1.5 years. Salary and benefits are competitive and commensurate with experience.
