Lowell Park Woodlands Walk
Sunday October 12 at 9 am
Explore the Lowell Park Woodlands and Bell Farm with Mark Robinson, Executive Director
of The Compact of Cape Cod Conservation Trusts and Barnstable Land Trust advisor.
Learn the importance of the preservation of 19 acres surrounding Lowell Park.  The
home field of the Cotuit Kettleers of the Cape Cod Baseball League, it is the "best
field for hitters" according to Coach Mike Roberts due to the green wall of surrounding
trees.
This easy walk on sloping terrain is almost 2 miles round trip and is about 1.5 
hours long.
Meet at Lowell Park at 9 am, 10 Lowell Avenue, Cotuit.

Cotuit Historical 375th Celebration Walk
Monday October 13 10 am
Discover the secrets behind the doors of Cotuit Main Street's historical homes as
told by our leader Professor James Gould.  Enjoy a private interior tour of the 
Santuit Post Office which is the oldest free standing Post Office in the United 
States!
This easy walk on flat terrain is about 2 miles round trip and lasts approximately
1.5 hours.
Meet at Lowell Park, 10 Lowell Avenue, Cotuit at 10 am on Monday, October 13 (Columbus
Day).

>From Rt. 28 in Cotuit, turn onto Main St., heading towards Cotuit Center. Follow
 Main St. for 1.2 miles. Take left onto Lowell Ave. and an immediate left into Lowell
Park.
