between ocean science and education. *


The New England Ocean Science Education Collaborative (NEOSEC) will 
present its 5th biennial "Ocean Literacy Summit" on November 6 -7. The 
Summit will focus on Ocean Literacy Principle #6

Humans and the ocean are inextricably interconnected.


This year's Ocean Literacy Summit features new discoveries, 
investigations, and explorations in our own region. Along with 
concurrent and plenary sessions, field trips, an evening reception and 
exhibits, the Summit provides scientists and educators opportunities to 
connect around the goal of advancing ocean literacy in all of New England.
