Eel River Talk and Tour
Saturday, October 11, 9:30am
SEMPBA Community Conservation Center
204 Long Pond Road, Plymouth
774-773-9982
Alex Hackman, Restoration Specialist, Division of Ecological Restoration, Mass DFG, will present the Eel River Headwaters Restoration Project followed by a tour of the Eel River Preserve.
Learn how to convert a low complexity, low diversity habitat with little value into a naturally diverse, high complexity habitat where herring now spawn again after an absence of 100 years—all of this in under 10 years! As a community, we have every reason to be proud of the Eel River Restoration project. But now we must protect our investment. Find out more by joining Alex on Saturday morning for a free and informative presentation at the SEMPBA Community Center followed by a tour of the beautiful Eel River preserve.
Space is limited. RSVP and send questions to SEMPBA at pinebarrensalliance.org
